What Is Occupational Therapy ?

Occupational Therapy is a field of allied medical science dealing with impairments or disability caused due to physical, cognitive or mental disorders and their rehabilitation.

At IPH Occupational therapists deal with children with difficulties in attention, concentration, social skills, play behavior, adjustment problems, academic skills like reading and writing, and self help skills. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Autism spectrum disorders, learning disabled, and children with other neuro-psychological problems are the few conditions to state.

Occupational therapy program incorporates developing skills, suggesting adaptations, environment modifications, training parents of children with special needs.
